Now we’re a rapidly growing startup (10-20% monthly recurring revenue growth every month, recently surpassing $1m in revenue) that serves more than a thousand businesses across North America. Whether it’s software that helps collect positive reviews, or using those reviews to get more referrals and sales, we use technology to give people products that ensure that their great work never goes unrecognized, unappreciated or unrewarded.
For the people who run their websites or local marketing on NiceJob, our app represents a solution they love. With NiceJob, skilled service providers no longer unreasonably have to also be digital marketing authorities to acquire new business.
And that’s just what we’re doing today. We’re thinking about the future, too. With our product team working on using things like natural language processing and machine learning to be able to surface reviews at the point of purchase, we’re reimagining how businesses influence purchase decisions. We're helping people be financially independent and able to continue to contribute to their community, their friends, and their families.

The Relationship Specialist is responsible for growing those relationships by telling NiceJob’s story - how we're transforming the lives and businesses of those we work with, helping people get the recognition they deserve, or helping people find great services and products..
In this role you will be responsible for conducting outreach to sales qualified leads, both cold, warm, and hot, and spending as much time on the phone with leads as possible. Every employee will start doing customer success to become product experts.
A Day in the Life...
7am: In the office, morning coffee, preparing for day, set up call queue, responding to emails. Dialed in by 8am.
8am-9am: Single-seat (e.g. Joe Plumber) Cold (and warm) Calling
9am-10am: Sales Meeting with Manager + More calling
10am-11am: Checking/sending emails, scheduling meetings for afternoon, conducting follow-ups
11am-1pm: Cold (and warm) Calling to either single-seat or multi-seat (e.g. RE/MAX)
1pm-2pm: Lunch, socialization, checking emails
2pm-3pm: Cold (and warm) Calling to either single-seat or multi-seat
+3pm: Attending scheduled meetings or other lead engagement activities (e.g. golf, dinners, events, etc. - you can be creative here as long as you're networking and selling!)
How performance will be measured...
Increases to Monthly Recurring Revenue
Productivity - conversations (not sms, or email - actually talking to someone) per day/hour.
Who we're looking for

Excellent written communication skills, and excellent emotional intelligence
As excited and passionate about the products we're making as we are
A willingness and ability to learn quickly, and hit the ground sprinting from day one
Can talk passionately about tech with a broad understanding of the field
Thorough understanding of Online Marketing concepts and the broader tech industry.
Someone with a bachelor's degree or some other formal training (eg. Coursera) in a relevant field.
Someone with previous experience in HubSpot (ideally) or similar CRM's. You'll be using it a lot in this role so if you be prepared and willing to do that.
Ideally someone who worked sales for other startups or small teams before (with little marketing)
Has a general knowledge of marketing & SEO - or can VERY quickly pick it up to be able to talk confidently about it in sales calls.

Salary & Perks
We use a combination of base salary, bonus, and flat commission per sale.
On-target-earnings for this role range between $60,000-$200,000 entirely based on your ability to sell - we have no shortage of people for you to contact (mostly outbound as we're still developing our inbound marketing systems). You will likely be much closer to the $60-$70k mark in your first year.
Base salary starts at $45,000, and can be as high as $60,000 depending on experience.
Commissions start at 2% if you opt for a higher base salary, and can go as high as 8% depending on experience.
Commissions are based on monthly recurring revenue generated from your sales, and are paid out as long as that customer continues to use NiceJob and you continue to work here. Commissions on existing customers gradually decrease over time to pay account manager and customer success salaries (who are primarily responsible for keeping them onboard.)
If the team hits their quota, everyone's commissions rise to 10% for that month.
Bonuses are 10% of base salary and are given for being a team-player, positivity, productivity, being coachable, and other culture factors.
0.05%-0.15% Equity depending on experience (presently around $15,000 at current valuation)
